Skip Botox, Fight Wrinkles Naturally

I’m at the age now where many of my friends are starting to talk about “preservation,” aka they are worried about wrinkles, sagging skin and age spots. Many of them have been getting Botox injections for years in anticipation of this day.

I personally hadn’t given it much thought, but some days I also find myself joking about a need for some skin preservation. I notice more and more how much a lack of sleep, alcohol consumption, and dehydration are starting to affect my skin. I am also noticing as I get older my skin is getting much more dry.
As a general rule, I eat fairly healthy. Sure I like to indulge every now and then, but my regular diet is clean--although I could use to scale back on quantity some days! So, what I am really focusing on now is hydration; So, drinking 4L of water a day, taking skin-improving supplements (for example, CoQ10, marine collagen, probiotics, NAC, ACES+Zinc) and a consistent skincare routine.

Since battling my adult acne using an extreme clean diet (we’re talking no dairy, no gluten, no sugar, seldom meat 😭😭😭) and the #3 Balancing Collection from Beautycounter, I have seen such an improvement I decided to make a small switch. Now, I am using products which target fine lines, wrinkles and dehydration. A lot of products I was using throughout the years were extremely drying and irritating and have left my skin looking dull, overworked and aged.
I recently switched to the Beautycounter+ #2 Plumping Collection and in only a few days have noticed a huge difference in the elasticity of my skin. I wake up looking more rested, and feel like my skin has a lot more moisture retention.
There are 3 products in this line - a mask, mist and facial oil - and they can be purchased individually or as a set. There is also a starter set with smaller sized products if this is something you want to try but don't want to commit too much money towards. The Plumping Collection restores and firms moisture-depleted skin with powerful peony and jasmine essences.

So instead of running straight for injections, try to naturally preserve your skin. Give it a try for a few weeks and let me know what you think!
